Banoffee Tart

This is one of my favourite classic English desserts. Anything with bananas and toffee can sometimes be cloyingly sweet, so I like to temper the sweetness with the addition of chocolate and flaky sea salt. 

You'll get layers of fresh bananas, with homemade salted dulce de leche, dark chocolate ganache in a buttery tart shell, topped with billowy clouds of whipped creme fraiche (which is slightly tangy), and finished off with a dusting of cocoa powder.

fridge (not freezer) and chill for a minimum of one (1) hour before consumption (as there's slight temperature change during delivery).

shelf life
tarts are best consumed on the same day of delivery, but they can last in the chiller for up to 3 days. Do note that the texture of the tart shell will change over time as it will continue to absorb moisture from the fillings.
